Gaining her background in Musical Theatre at a young age and growing increasingly tired of being forced into a box that she never fit into, Puerto Rican American singer, songwriter, and actress Raquel Liane Martinez began writing music to find herself. Her music began her journey to self-love and acceptance.

Raquel's artistry, both Theatrical and Original has led her to be nominated for a Rising Star Award for best supporting actress on the Papermill Playhouse stage, sing for Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Garnered her spot in Philadelphia's largest premiere wedding and events band. Raquel has also made appearances on heavy hitter stages such as SOB's in NYC and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia. Raquel currently has her EP out on all streaming platforms and recently released her newest single "Chillando" a spanglish summer anthem encouraging self love and letting go. You can catch Raquel on the UCPAC stage as the opening act for Rahway's Mayor Music Series on August 15th!
